Engineer UWINTWARI Jean Sauveur is an experienced professional with a master’s degree in civil/structural engineering. He holds over 12 years of practical expertise in the field, registered under the Engineers Registration Code A460/EC/IER/2016. He also possesses a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the former National University of Rwanda. Jean Sauveur has expanded his skills through engineering software training at “Techofaster pvt Ltd,” an Autodesk authorized training center in New Delhi, India. Additionally, he completed a post-graduate training course in Design, Calibration, Operation, and Maintenance of hydraulic structures in Cairo, Egypt.

He has shared his knowledge as a part-time lecturer at institutions such as the “Integrated Polytechnic Regional Center Eastern,” “Muhabura Integrated Polytechnic College,” and “Musanze Polytechnic College,” focusing on modules related to structural engineering and design. In his role as a program coordinator of the Building Construction Technology option within the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geomatics Engineering at the University of Rwanda, he played a significant role. He has also been appointed as a university structural engineer for construction projects at the University of Rwanda. Jean Sauveur has actively contributed to numerous projects as a consultant engineer and project manager. His research interests encompass structural optimization and Building Information Modelling. He is a recognized corporate engineer under the Institute of Engineers Rwanda (IER), an assistant lecturer at the University of Rwanda, and a member of the Technical Committee on Fire Safety Standards at the Rwanda Standard Board (RSB), representing the University of Rwanda.

From 2013 to 2018, she served as a Logistics and Project Manager at SCE Ltd, where her strategic planning and organizational skills streamlined operations and optimized resource utilization. Recognizing her exceptional contributions, she was appointed Managing Director of SCE Ltd in 2019, a role in which she demonstrated exemplary leadership and vision until today. Georgette’s commitment to continuous improvement is evident in her pursuit of professional development, she completed training in using the Primavera project management software at the ORMAT training center in India, equipping her with advanced tools for project planning and execution. She also underwent training in Project Management Portfolio from the same training center in India, further enhancing her capabilities in managing complex projects. Benjamin Hategekimana is a highly motivated and accomplished civil engineer specializing in transportation engineering with a passion for sustainable infrastructure development. He pursued his Master’s in Transportation Engineering at Alexandria University, Egypt, where he honed his skills in designing and optimizing transportation systems, ensuring efficient and safe mobility for communities. Prior to his master’s degree, he completed his undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering at the University of Rwanda. Complementing his formal education, he has actively sought opportunities for professional development. Benjamin participated in a one-year Diploma course on the Shared Water Resources Development (SWRD) program at Cairo University in 2020. He completed a 3-month Diploma course on “Hydraulic Engineering in River Basins” at MWRI and NWRC in HRI-Delta Barrage (Egypt) in 2021. These training courses deepened his understanding of water-related infrastructure and provided valuable insights into water resource management. Furthermore, the GIS Training Program using QGIS at the Central University of Karnataka, India, With a diverse academic and training background, he contributed to numerous Civil works projects as a consultant engineer. Epaphrodite’s expertise has been further enhanced through specialized training in engineering software conducted by “SCE Ltd.” He has played a dynamic role in various undertakings, assuming responsibilities as a Site Engineer and Project Supervisor.
